lifesong
Everyone needs compassion
And love that never fails
Let mercy fall on me
When everyone needs forgiveness
Kindness of the Saviour
The Hope of the nation
Saviour, He can move the mountains
My God is mighty to save
He is mighty to save
Forever author of salvation
He rose and conquered the grave
Jesus conquered the grave
So take me as you find me
All my fears and failures
Fill my life again
I give my life to follow
Everything that i believe in
Now i surrender
Shine a light in and
let the whole world see
Singing, for the glory of the risen king
Jesus, Shine a light and
let the whole world see
Singing for the glory of the risen king

My Last Official Urban Life
Hey champs!
Dont you think WHAT IS was awesome?? The place was absolutely packed out and we didnt have enough seats, so much so that people were spilling over and into the aisle. The alter was too small and when alter call came, the front was just jam packed!
With that, it brings me to say thank you all so much for this journey that we've come along together as an urban life and all I can say is that you guys are really the best! I told myself that I mustnt cry at my last Urban Life with y'all but the goodbye hug from each of you girls made me crack under the pressure and I couldnt hold back. I cried because I love you all soooooo much. I cried because I'm so proud of you all, because I see so much potential in each and everyone of you. I cried thinking about how much God has ahead for each of you, how each of you legends would rise up and grow and grow and grow.
I asked Joanne why was I reacting this way - crying so much over leaving this urban life to join the rest in a pioneering urban life when really, we will still see each other. The reason she gave summed it all up in one very simple yet profound line - "
Because you love your Urban Life too much".
That hit me so much.
Could you imagine the same thing when God gave up His one and only son? The pain He must have felt to give up something so precious, the pain Jesus must have felt when He was asked to leave this earth by sacrificing Himself on the Cross and worst still, being mocked by people.
But you know what's the one thing in common?? It's for the sake of His Kingdom and His people. Jesus did it because it was for the sinners, the lost and His people. He stepped out of His comfort zone. And it's the same thing with me. I'm stepping out of my comfort zone because it's time to draw back the backsliden, the lost and the confused.
His Kingdom.
You all know that whatever it is, you know where to get me. (:
Love y'all to bits!
